This week has been one of glory, growth, and great celebration at Mercy House Ministries! From Wednesday to Sunday, the atmosphere across our ministry Head Quarters was filled with prayer, teaching, and revival as we held the Winners Summit 2025 a powerful week of impartation, worship, and divine encounter.
At the same time, the Eagles Youth Camp was in full swing at Mercy House Kalungu, gathering vibrant young people from different institutions and churches for mentorship, leadership training, and spiritual renewal. The youth left inspired to soar higher and become agents of transformation in their communities!
Then came Sunday, October 12th, the grand climax a day of thanksgiving and celebration as we marked 13 years of impactful ministry under the visionary leadership of Apostle Dr. Gilbert Birungi, Founder and Director of Mercy House Ministries.
It was a day filled with joyful worship, powerful testimonies, and glorious moments of impartation. The sanctuary was alive with performances from families, gospel presentations, and creative ministries showcasing the beauty of unity and service in the body of Christ.
One of the major highlights was the ordination of Pastor Norman and Pastor Devon, who were set apart and anointed for greater kingdom work. Their commitment, service, and faithfulness stood as a shining example of the next generation of leaders being raised within Mercy House.
We were also honored to have our dear FOLA team join us in celebration, alongside branch pastors, partners, and friends of the ministry from different regions. Together, we rejoiced over how far God has brought us from humble beginnings to a global movement transforming lives through education, healthcare, evangelism, empowerment, and community development.
In his powerful message, Apostle Dr. Gilbert Birungi reminded the congregation that the journey of Mercy House is one of faith, obedience, and purpose. He emphasized that we are just getting started — and that the next chapter is about deeper community transformation, leadership multiplication, and expanding the reach of God’s mercy to the nations.
“We are not just a ministry; we are a movement of transformation, touching lives and shaping destinies. The same God who began this work will surely bring it to completion.” — Ap. Dr. Gilbert Birungi
As we celebrate 13 years of Mercy House Ministries, we thank God for every testimony, every soul reached, every child educated, and every community transformed. The best is yet to come!
